I would like to tell you a story - one that spans the years from 1980 to the present. It is a story of a man who followed his dreams and aspirations by using the talent and gifts that God had given him to the fullest! He is a podiatrist and his name is Dr. Jerome Dovberg.
He is a very competent and knowledgeable physician and, through the years, he has treated every member of my family. Each of our three daughters have received excellent medical care from him when athletic injuries assailed them as a result of gymnastics, soccer and other sports activities offered within the Prince William County school system. Dr. Dovberg treated my husband, over a period of almost two years, for a very severe ankle condition which threatened his health and the functionality Of his right foot and ankle. The treatment was conservative and successful. At the present time he is treating me for a bone spur condition affecting my left heel.
In his own words "... I treat people, not just feet." His respect for people of all ages, his encouragement, kindness and compassion can only be translated into "love in action!" Dr. Dovberg's sincerity and empathy for each and every one of his patients - from the youngest to the oldest person - is obvious, and each cannot help but know his concern for them. I have witnessed youngsters, students, middle aged and seniors - some healthy, some affected by Alzheimer's, leave him more content with his medical care for them and laughing with him because of a shared joke or with tears in their eyes because of a shared life experience. They all experienced the tangible love and joy of being with him.
To Dr. Dovberg - Thank you for the joy, the many fond memories, but most of all for all, of the love you have showered on each member of my family. We are so proud to know you as our doctor and as a dear friend. May God continue to bless your life and your family as well - as you have truly blessed ours!

My brother-in-law and sister insisted that I travel from Brooklyn, New York to Woodbridge, Virginia to have an operation performed on my left foot by Dr. Jerome Dovbero. I needed surgery on my foot to correct a number of painful problems. These tedious procedures were tirelessly and expertly performed by Dr. Dovberg. I was in the Operating Room for a number of hours and had absolutely no problems during or after the surgeries.
My left foot has recovered completely and I no longer have a gigantic painful bunion and severely angled, painful, overlapping hammertoes. I can now wear shoes without pain. I hardly recognize my left foot.
I gladly recommend Dr. Dovberg as a competent and compassionate Podiatrist and Surgeon.
